Be Well Studio Policies
Classes start and end on time. The door will be locked when class begins. Locking the door during class not only keeps us and our belongings safe, but it also ensures that class remains uninterrupted and peaceful.
Yogis who register for a single class are expected to attend that class. Make up classes, when necessary, should be arranged ahead of time.
Monthly Unlimited class pass holders are welcome to attend as many classes as they'd like. Please let me know which classes you plan to attend. Also, I deeply appreciate knowing when you're unable to attend (a text is very welcome: 269-501-1664).
Autopay is required for all class passes (may be canceled at any time). Class passes may be placed on hold for medical reasons for 30 days.
Classes with low attendance may be reformatted or canceled.
Yoga Etiquette
Arrive Early
Please give yourself enough time to arrive and get settled on your mat before class begins. Classes will begin and end on time. The studio is open at least 15 minutes before classes begin.
Plan to Stay for the Whole Class
Please plan to stay for the whole class. Leaving class early is disruptive to your fellow yogis in class.
Fragrance-Free Environment
Be Well is a fragrance-free studio. Please avoid wearing products with heavy scents as other yogis may have allergies or sensitivities to fragrance.
Quiet in the Studio
All personal items, including phones, can be safely stored in our lobby. Please silence all electronic devices when you're in the studio.
Stay Home if You're Not Feeling Well
Please prioritize your health and others' by staying home if you're feeling under the weather.
Questions that are frequently asked...
Why do you lock the door? We lock the door when class begins for a number of reasons. The main reason is to keep us and our belongings safe. In addition, Be Well is a very small space, without a receptionist. A locked door allows the practice to continue without interruption.
What should I wear? Opt for comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for ease of movement. When attending Yin, Restorative, or Sound Immersion classes, consider dressing in layers to stay warm and comfortable during practice.
What should I bring? Please bring your own yoga mat and water bottle. For hygienic reasons, we recommend bringing your own yoga blocks and strap, though we do have some available to borrow.
I've never done yoga before, what do I need to know? You don’t need to be flexible or strong to start practicing yoga. Yoga meets us where we are. The more you practice, the more improvement you will notice with each session.
